EPIC JANUARY IN ARLBERG
This January was without doubt one of the most epic months we have experience in St. Anton am Arlberg in a very long time. The amount of snow that has fallen in the Northern Alps was simply unbelievable and was making headlines all over the world. While the media were portraying the situation quite dramatically, the Tyrol region was well prepared and did a tremendous job coping with the snow. And in the meantime, our certified ski guides were guiding our clients to some of the best powder days of their lives! Just check out our Instagram account and see what we are talking about.
With even more snowfall in the second half of the month, the accumulative snow depths reached record five meters in Valluga, with the rest of the Ski Arlberg area not far behind. So, you can for sure imagine that deep powder days with fresh tracks in untouched snow were pretty much a daily routine for Piste To Powder guides and their guests throughout the entire January.
Now, at the beginning of February, is the entire Ski Arlberg area in its best shape for freeriding! Whether you come to St. Anton, Lech, Zürs or Stuben am Arlberg, our mountain guides will undoubtedly guide you to an unforgettable off piste experience in the Arlberg’s backcountry.
The ski season in St. Anton am Arlberg is far from the end and the unbelievable amount of snow is waiting for you in Piste To Powder’s backyard! Are you ready to join us?
