It was the early years of 2000, when Graham Austick first launched Piste To Powder – Mountain Guides St. Anton, providing high quality Off Piste guiding adventures with a focus on developing our guests Off Piste technique and mountain safety skills.
We are proud to have been a part of the freeriding and Off Piste revolution over the past 25 years, creating and innovating in our desire to share our passion for powder experiences, with you, our clients.
We were there when the new state of the art Galzig gondola first opened, we were among the first with our clients to discover the finest powder in the Langen trees, we took the last nostalgic ride in the old Trittkopf gondola and then celebrated when the whole Arlberg area became connected, we shared laughter and fun with our guests in the back of the old Rendl gondola and when Chalet girl was filmed here, some of our service team even performed as extras on the film.
Whatever comes to your mind about the last 20 years of Off Piste skiing in St Anton, you can be sure we took a part in it!
Piste To Powder is the sum of the very best local mountain guides, sharing a collective passion for ski adventure, and bringing with them expert local knowledge and skills to provide an excellent service to all our guests.
All our guides are carefully selected, fully qualified, English speaking UIAGM mountain guides, the highest worldwide qualification, allowing us to take our guests to even more remote and spectacular places, in the Arlberg area and beyond. Many of our expert guides are at the cutting edge of ski mountaineering, the elite of the elite – instructors of other mountain guides, testing new products and guiding extreme/high altitude alpine expeditions.
