Ski Guiding in the Arlberg from it’s finest!

Last year it was boxing day when the snow finally arrived – this year it looks like we could be welcoming in the New Year with a fresh layering of snow – so start getting those powder skis ready for the weekend! Join us mountain guides in St. Anton, Arlberg and experience ski guiding in the area from it’s finest!

General weather outlook is for light snow Thursday night and moderate on Friday morning. Temperatures will start to fall from the balmy spring like conditions we have been experiencing.

Despite the challenging conditions this week – our mountain guides in St. Anton, Lech Zürs have been busy steering our groups away from the crowds – short hikes rewarded by soft spring snow and happy customers! One of our American visitors, Brad yesterday took these shots from their small tour yesterday with Mangus. A couple of short hikes from the back of Stuben, carrying skis and boards resulted in some nice soft spring snow and a few fresh tracks!

One note for all our guests, safety equipment is always required when you travel in the backcountry off the piste – even in spring conditions. so get in the habit of always packing the bag with shovel, probe and transceiver. And a helmet must be worn at all times. We can provide all of this, you just need to bring a rucksack  – just let us know when you book.

Happy New year from all of the piste to powder team!
