Off Piste Courses: Pre-Season Warm Up at Stubai Glacier

Do you want to kick off your ski season already before the lifts in St. Anton am Arlberg start running? If you are as excited as we are to finally put on the skis again, then join us this November for a 3-day pre-season warm up at the Stubai Glacier ski area.

Located just 40 minutes away from Innsbruck, Stubai Glacier is not only Tirol’s, but also Austria’s biggest glacier ski resort. The area calls itself ‘the kingdom of snow’ and there is a good reason for that. Great snow conditions are guaranteed from autumn all the way to late spring, allowing you to make the most out of your ski season. It is also known as one of the top freeride destinations in the Austrian Alps, so the powder hungry off piste skiers will definitely be at home in Stubai’s backcountry. Featuring a huge variety of freeride terrain and runs, there is a lot to do for off piste skiers of all levels.

During the 3-day off piste camp you will be accompanied by one of the Piste To Powder’s certified UIAGM English speaking mountain guide, under whose guidance you will:

  • Ski amazing off piste runs in a glacial terrain
  • Develop your avalanche safety and mountaineering skills
  • Work on your off piste skiing and ski touring technique

If this sounds like a perfect ski season kick off either for you or for someone you know, then get in touch! We will be more than happy to give you more information and answer any questions you may have.
