Yet, they keep getting better.
We skied slopes we hadn't done before and eventhough it was busy and we thought it would be impossible to find good untracked snow, the guides were always able to find untouched galleys with perfect snow conditions. After spending my first day on the piste with long lines, crowded slopes and spending far too much time looking at the map, I was anxious to get off-piste and away from the crowds. I decided to join an open group level 2 with Piste to Powder and was rewarded with incredible scenery, endless fresh tracks on open bowls and a great guide (Bernie) who knew the mountain well and took us to the best spots that I certainly would never have found or ventured to on my own. I'll admit that a couple of the drop ins and traverses made me go weak at the knees at first glance, but Bernie instilled confidence and was very patient. I enjoyed the small group experience and comradery of like minded skiiers. We were all exhausted at the end of the day but were on a high from the experience. Our guide Florian was simply amazing. He was so patient and dealt with two people with very different skiing styles brilliantly. The communication prior to the day was excellent and the payment system simple and efficient. I really cannot recommend Piste to Powder enough. Also highlights the importance of equipment and guiding for off piste. We came across an avalanche and two guides from piste to powder immediately organised everyone into efficient and safe search parties. Snow still wasn't deep but the guide found us fun off-piste skiing with some fresh powder. It was so much fun and we went to places I could never find on my own. So I signed up for the whole week and it was the best decision I could have made! Tomas took us over the mountains, down the valleys and through the trees in search for untouched powder and we found loads of it. He was extremely professional and I felt safe at all times with him. She was patient when we needed a little more time than her, and guided us to terrific runs, found the best snow possible (tough week of snow for St. Anton) and was simply a joy to spend two days with. We hope to return to St Anton, and would absolutely engage Piste to Powder again.

Whatever the weather and conditions, they always seem to safely find good powder snow to ski. The business model of joining an open group makes guiding very accessible financially and it is always fun to meet and ski with new people of the same ability. We had a great couple of days this time with Magnus who I would love to ski with again. The first day was snowing and overcast but we managed to find some amazing runs surrounded by trees that created more than enough contours on the ground to see where we were going.
The second day was as perfect as it could get with fresh snow and sunshine. Every run that we did got better and better. We managed to find untouched powder fields until the very last run of the day!! Definitely worth having a guide like Christophe to find these gems. read less - 2019-02-07

The instruction on safety equipment was understandable for all. Emi also gave each of us many individual tips on how to improve our riding technique on the board. Emi had adapted the activities on this day to the needs and riding skills of each individual in our group. Emi made our Poweder-Day very varied. The guides are super cool and know where the best off piste runs are. We went heli skiing one day and got some nice runs in with Philip. Piste to Powder has looked after us two seasons now (a week this February, and a week last year too). Both my teenage children really enjoyed the experience, so we had both family and friends out. There hadn't been fresh snow for almost two weeks, but our guide managed to 'truffle hunt' fresh tracks nonetheless (after a bit of extra climbing). Our guide was keen to show us the basics and took us down increasing routes of difficulty throughout the day which were all very fun!
We always felt safe despite being off piste and that our guide was looking out for us, and it really helped us develop our technique. We had two epic days of finding lovely snow away from the pistes despite it not having snowed recently.

We had a marvellous time: as well guided off piste exploring we had some brilliant teaching, and learnt more from him than from any instructor in a long time.
There was a mix-up at the start (one of our group was optimistic on his level, then we got paired with some other guests of a wholly different level). But as they say, the mark of great service is not when things go as expected, but how things go if there is a glitch, and Piste to Powder did superbly.
Jacob came in specially and gave us an *amazing* day.
Wer spent most of the day on Rendl going on piste (for tips on technique) and off piste (for fun)
.
All three of said afterwards we learnt more from him than we had any other instructor in years - and we did it while have a brilliant, exciting time.
